RMIT SOCIAL BASKETBALL

WHY BASKETBALL? WHY JOIN US?

Basketball, is more than just a game. It’s a symbol of passion, determination, and the power of human potential. Every time you step onto the court, you have the opportunity to challenge yourself, push your limits, and discover what you’re truly capable of. The sound of the ball hitting the hardwood and the feeling of your muscles burning as you sprint down the court reminds that we are alive and are capable of achieving greatness. Whether you’re playing for fun or competing at the highest level, basketball has the ability to inspire, uplift, and transform us. The game teaches teamwork and perseverance and gives us the thrill of the chase. It reminds that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and your dreams.

The Rmit basketball club is the club to experience it all, because

WHAT WE DO?

The RMIT basketball club runs training based at Victoria University for the convenience of city-based campus students.
On Wednesday nights, we offer casual training sessions followed by
casual pick-up
On Friday nights, we offer organized team training drills for competitive registered teams fortnightly for men and on the opposite fortnights for girls. Casual training is still offered on these nights as two courts are hired to cater to
all skills on Friday night.
Besides training, we offer members the opportunity to play competitively in
social winter and summer leagues. Social winter and summer leagues are run
by an organization (MCBA), which organizes over ten grades of competitive division for Sunday nights. Spots for competitive play are limited but are open
to all skill group players.
The club also runs fun social events from time to time.
